Four years later, what started online had grown into a thriving business—hosting events, supporting recruitment, providing market entry services into Japan, and connecting top bilingual talent with industry leaders to help shape a better future in Japan.

As TeamFirst grew, its brand remained unchanged and no longer captured the scope of its activities or ambitions. The outdated branding became a hurdle, hindering the company’s progress toward its goals. It was time to reimagine how TeamFirst presented itself to the world.

The new brand strategy is anchored in the belief that “Connection is the antidote to stagnation”—that, for individuals and organizations alike, engaging with others, sharing ideas, and collaborating are essential to fostering meaningful growth.
This vision is directly translated in TeamFirst’s new logo. Each of the four spheres symbolizes individuals coming together, and at their intersection, a spark ignites. This spark represents the magic of connection, collaboration, and growth, the core pillars of TeamFirst.
The rest of the visual identity—from the fonts selection to the color palette—was crafted to embody this idea of growth through connection. It strikes a balance between the warmth and humanity of a community and the professionalism of an elite recruiting and consulting business.

We built this system using two fundamental shapes derived directly from the logo: the circle and the spark. By using, combining, and stretching these forms, we created a dynamic visual language that is both cohesive and versatile. These graphical elements reinforce the brand’s identity while allowing for creative expression across various applications.
This approach ensures TeamFirst maintains a strong and unified presence across all its activities, both now and in the future. Designed to scale, the system keeps the brand visually impactful as the business continues to grow.
